And the right-click menu when inside a zip has the option "add password" (4) If you've got the Folder sidebar present in Windows Explorer, then it does not show zips as folders; moreover, whenever you double-click on a zip, it opens it into a new explorer window without the folder-bar.

At least that works for me: I just made a desktop shortcut to "\\computer\c" without the quotes, and it brought up Windows Explorer with a folder window open to drive C: on the computer called As it is now, I have to right-click on "My Network Places" or access it from the sidebar on the Find Files window.
